I'm recovering from my hard drive failures. Sametime wouldn't start today. The splash screen came up and that was it. I found the following information:
Sametime shows the splash screen but does not start
Delete the file: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\IBM\RCP\Sametime\.metadata\plugins\com.ibm.collaboration.realtime.imhub\shelfmemento.xml and then start Sametime again.
Which solved my problem!
